Performance

The standard 1.5L turbocharged four-cylinder engine gives drivers of the 2021 Honda Accord 192 horsepower to unleash as they cruise Michigan. Customers who want even more exhilaration from the Accord can go for the 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine and its 252 horsepower. Standard accompaniment to the engines is a Continuously Variable Transmission, while an optional ten-speed automatic transmission is also available. One direct improvement is a better response from the throttle for a better punch of performance off the line.

Exterior & Interior Features

The outside of the 2021 Accord has been given a modest refresh for the new model year. With a redesigned grille and the new Sonic Gray Pearl color option among other changes, the 2021 Accord is simply stunning. Inside, the base trims of the Accord now have the 8-inch display for the integrated multimedia system that was optional on the 2020 models standard for 2021. This means drivers of every 2021 Accord now have immediate access to media applications such as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The USB ports in the 2021 Accord have also be moved around from their 2020 model configuration.    

Safety Features

New LED headlights are an option for the 2021 family of Accord sedans. While the 2021 set of Accord models keep the same safety technology on each trim level, they gained a new piece of interior safety technology. Accord sedans in 2021 now have a Rear Seat Reminder system. With this innovation, the Accord will alert the driver to check the back seat of the vehicle when they are preparing to exit. This system only activates when either of the rear passenger doors has been opened before the journey starts.
