For the base, the EX, and the EX-L trims, the standard engine is a 1.5L turbocharged type with 174 horsepower to take advantage of. Moving to the Sport or the Sport Touring trims, the horsepower is increased to 180 for a little extra power to use on the highway or the city streets. For the models with the 174-horsepower engine, the CVT transmission comes standard. Otherwise, the CVT transmission is an option and a manual six-speed transmission comes standard on the Sport and Sport Touring models.
