This crossover SUV will be a super option between the Honda CR-V and the Honda Pilot. This five-passenger SUV has a rugged yet modern body style. The spacious and well-equipped interior offers class-leading passenger space. Don’t worry, there is plenty of room for cargo too. Behind the rear seats is a fully-carpeted cargo space with 41.2 cu-ft. Plus, you will have an additional 2.5 cu-ft of cargo space under the floor. Still not enough? No problem! The rear seats fold flat for up to 77.9 cu-ft of cargo space. That is an impressive cargo area, able to carry a bicycle, supplies from the home improvement store, or all the gear you need for a camping adventure.
The Passport will have a powerful 3.5-liter SOHC direct-injected V6 engine with i-VTEC® that will be paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. The fuel economy is to be determined, but you can count on this combination to be fuel efficient. Did we mention how powerful this engine is? Add on the optional towing package for super hauling capability. Your family vacations will get even better with up to 5,000 pound towing power and even a multi-angle rearview camera that helps with all aspects of driving with your camper or trailer.
The 2019 Honda Passport will be available in four different trim levels which are the Sport, the EX-L, the Touring, and the fully-loaded Elite. There will be plenty of features equipped on each, as well as some excellent optional features you can add on. Just some features you can look forward to include smart entry and push button start, three-zone automatic climate control, HondaLink® system, and even the Honda Sensing® suite of advanced safety and driver-assistive technologies. You can have peace of mind with your family in this crossover since the Passport has a 5-star overall vehicle score from the NHTSA. Plus, it is an overall safety pick from the IIHS!
